Trails Development Director
Hometown
I was born in Greensboro, NC, but spent a great deal of time in Raleigh, NC, as well.
I am working to promote a healthier Spartanburg because
healthy living makes a healthy mind! A healthy community fosters ingenuity and progress for future generations to thrive.
My favorite form of physical activity
Jogging, hiking, swimming, and dancing!
I love Spartanburg because
the Spartanburg Community has been with me through some major life changes: getting married, adopting two puppies, and welcoming my baby boy. I am incredibly grateful for all of the support I have received that has helped encourage my continued growth in my career while growing my family. I am excited to be a part of the exciting trail work that PAL has undertaken and be a champion for the community that has given me so much.
Other community interests or involvement
Former Spartanburg County employee and continued supporter of local government and nonprofit partnerships. As a dog mom and toddler mom – the Spartanburg Humane Society, Spartanburg County Libraries, and Spartanburg Science Center are wonderful organizations!
And something random
I once stayed in the amazon rain forest in Peru for a week to study abroad in college where I saw up close and personal the second-largest green anaconda ever seen in the Peruvian amazon.
