To create opportunities for active living and healthy eating for everyone, centered around Spartanburg County.
Start your own fundraising campaign when you register for the Turkey Day 8K! All funds raised help feed local families in need this holiday season.
(Not running? No problem - you can still join the cause and raise money without participating in the race!)
Whether you're passionate about trails or local food, PAL has meaningful ways for you to get involved. Our volunteers are the heart of our work—from restoring the beauty of our trails to helping bring fresh, local produce to families across Spartanburg.

Help us maintain the beauty and safety of the Daniel Morgan Trail System and local parks. Taking care of our trails is essential to their longevity and accessibility—and volunteers like you make it possible!

Be part of the energy at the Hub City Farmers Market, where we bring fresh, local food directly to the community! Volunteers assist with setup, customer service, vendor support, and breakdown of the market.
Shifts available: Saturday mornings
Location: Northside Harvest Park, Spartanburg
What to bring: Comfortable clothes, walking shoes, and a refillable water bottle.
Interested in helping at the market? Contact Jenni Callahan at jcallahan@palspartanburg.org or sign up for a shift below.
