I'm a native of Florence, SC, but have been local to Spartanburg for 20 years!

I am working to promote a healthier Spartanburg because

a community with healthier food and safe spaces for outdoor activities builds a foundation for success in every other area of life.

My favorite form of physical activity

is walking - I'm especially thankful for the shaded beauty of the River Birch trail during the hot summer months.

I love Spartanburg because

it seems to be a community that works hard to improve itself and provide for its citizens.

Other community interests or involvement

I'm active in my church and with my son's Boy Scout troop, as well as other volunteer interests.

I have a dog named Duchess who runs the show at home.
