PAL and partners work to strengthen the local food system

Our dream is for Spartanburg County to be a community where making the healthy choice is also the easy choice.

Support from The Duke Endowment has allowed us take action and implement meaningful programs to help turn our dream into a reality.

We are so proud of the progress that we've made hand in hand with our partners Ruth's Gleanings, Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, The Bridge at Green Street, Live Healthy Spartanburg, Hub City Roots, & the City of Spartanburg, to strengthen the local food system.

We've launched PAL's Food Hub, expanded Cooking Up Confidence Classes, supported local farmers, and made nutritious produce more accessible in our community.

This is just the beginning. We are so excited for all that is to come!
