To create opportunities for active living and healthy eating for everyone, centered around Spartanburg County.
EIN: 54-2111221
Help us keep one of Spartanburg's outdoor gems in great shape by trimming back overgrown vegetation and improving nearly two miles of natural surface hiking and mountain biking trails. Summer growth quickly narrows the trail corridor, making trails less enjoyable and more difficult to use. By lending a hand, you'll help reclaim the trails and keep them safe, accessible, and enjoyable for everyone.
No experience is necessary; volunteers of all skill levels are welcome! PAL will provide loppers, hand pruners, handsaws, and work gloves. If you have your own weed eater, hedge trimmer, brush cutter, mower, or other vegetation-clearing equipment and are willing to bring it, we'd greatly appreciate the extra help.
