Our December trail cleanup will focus heavily on invasive species removal - think English ivy, privet, wisteria, kudzu, and eleagnus. We’ll provide gloves, loppers, and hand saws, plus a brief presentation on identification and best removal practices.
We’ll also celebrate the folks who show up for our trails all year. Come see the reveal of our new Trail Steward shirts. Attending this event counts as step 1 of 3 toward earning your free shirt!
Last, but most certainly not least, join us in celebrating the legacy of Newt Hardie. We’ll have coffee and “birthday cake” in honor of Newt, founder of the Trees Coalition, whose legacy of trail and tree care we celebrate each December during this cleanup
